2. Overview

This website is a plain informational site. We collect personal data only where it is technically necessary to deliver the site, or where you actively send it to us — by using the contact form or by writing to us by email. We do not use tracking, profiling or automated decision-making, and we do not sell personal data.

Where the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to a visit from the EU/EEA, the legal bases named below apply. References to “Art.” are references to the GDPR.

3. Server log files

When you open this website, the web server automatically records technical access data that your browser transmits:

  • IP address of the requesting device
  • Date and time of the request
  • Requested file / URL and transferred data volume
  • HTTP status code
  • Referrer URL
  • Browser type, version and operating system
PurposeDelivering the website, stability, security, troubleshooting, defence against attacks
Legal basisArt. 6(1)(f) — legitimate interest in a secure and functional website
RetentionDeleted after no more than 14 days, unless needed to investigate a specific case of misuse

This data is not merged with other data sources and is not used to identify individual visitors.

Hosting

The website is hosted by domainfactory GmbH, Oskar-Messter-Str. 33, 85737 Ismaning, Germany. The provider processes the above access data on our behalf as a processor under Art. 28, on the basis of a data processing agreement.

4. Contact form

The contact form on our homepage transmits the data you enter — name, email address, subject and your message — together with your IP address to the form service FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), which forwards the submission to our mailbox. We use the service so that no separate form backend has to be operated on this site.

PurposeProcessing your enquiry and any follow-up communication
Legal basisArt. 6(1)(b) for pre-contractual measures at your request; otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) — legitimate interest in answering enquiries
Provided byFormSubmit (formsubmit.co) — servers in the United States
Transfer outside the EU/EEAYes, to the United States. No adequacy decision applies to this provider and no processing agreement is in place with it. The transfer takes place on the basis of Art. 49(1)(b) — it is necessary to carry out the enquiry you send us at your own initiative. Use email instead if you wish to avoid it.
RetentionUntil your enquiry is fully dealt with; afterwards in line with statutory retention periods

Providing the data is neither legally nor contractually required. Without name, email address and message we cannot process your enquiry. Submitting the form does not set any cookies. If you prefer not to use the service, please write to us directly at info@beconcrete.net.

5. Contact by email

If you contact us by email, we process the data you send — at minimum your email address, and any further content of your message — to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) where your message relates to a contract or its initiation, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) — our legitimate interest in responding. We delete this data once it is no longer required and no statutory retention obligation prevents deletion.

6. Cookies, analytics and external content

This website sets no cookies, uses no web analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising networks and no social media plug-ins. Fonts, styles, scripts and images are served from our own server — no external CDN is called when the page loads, so no data is transmitted to third parties simply by visiting.

The only third-party connection occurs when you actively submit the contact form (see section 4).

7. Recipients of the data

  • Our hosting provider (access data, as processor)
  • FormSubmit (contact form submissions)
  • Our email provider
  • Public authorities and courts, where we are legally obliged to disclose data

Beyond this, we do not pass personal data on to third parties.

8. Retention

We store personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for, or for as long as statutory retention periods require. Once the purpose ceases and no retention obligation applies, the data is deleted.

9. Your rights

Subject to the statutory requirements, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15)
  • Rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data (Art. 16)
  • Erasure of your data (Art. 17)
  • Restriction of processing (Art. 18)
  • Data portability in a structured, machine-readable format (Art. 20)
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21)
  • Withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future, where processing is based on consent (Art. 7(3))

To exercise any of these rights, write to info@beconcrete.net.

Right to lodge a complaint

If you believe that the processing of your personal data infringes the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in particular in the EU/EEA member state of your residence, place of work or the place of the alleged infringement (Art. 77).

10. Data security

This website uses TLS encryption (HTTPS) for all connections. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the https:// prefix in the address bar of your browser. We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, manipulation and unauthorised access. Please note that data transmission over the internet can never be fully secured against access by third parties.

11. Changes to this policy

We update this privacy policy whenever changes to our website or to the services we use make it necessary. The version published here always applies. The date of the current version is shown at the top of this page.
